J. Hamrick (Rick) Gnann, Jr. was born in Savannah, Ga., earning his BA degree from Armstrong State College and Law Degree from the University of Georgia Law School.  Rick was admitted to the practice of law in 1977, and formed the law firm of Gannam & Gnann LLP with Michael J. Gannam, with whom he had been associated since beginning his Law Practice.  


Rick has experience practicing within a variety of legal fields, and in recent years his practice has become more specialized in the areas of Probate Law, Real Estate Litigation and General Trial Work. Rick is often asked to assist in resolving disputes through Mediation and ArbitrationServices and is frequently called upon to serve as a Court Appointed Special Master in various legal matters.  Rick is a member of the Georgia Municipal Court Judge's Council, having served as a judge pro tem in several local courts.

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Christian J. “Chris”
Steinmetz III
graduated from the University of Virginia in 1988. After
working with an Atlanta Law Firm for two years, Chris took his Juris Doctor from Mercer University Law School in Macon, Georgia in May of 1993. After graduating, he practiced in Glynn County, Georgia until the fall of 1994 when he moved to Savannah to work under the City Attorney and the members of his firm. Thereafter, Chris associated with former Georgia Court of Appeals Judge, H. Sol Clark and his son, Fred Clark in the firm that eventually became Clark, Clark & Steinmetz. In 2006, Chris joined together with Joe Gannam and Rick Gnann to begin a new era by forming the Law Office of

GANNAM, GNANN & STEINMETZ, LLC. 


Chris is well-known and respected in the Federal and State Courts throughout South and Middle Georgia, representing a variety of Companies, Employers, Governmental Entities, and Individuals in Insurance Defense and Commercial Litigation matters. Chris also has a thriving Creditor Bankruptcy Practice throughout South Georgia in which he protects the interests of Municipalities,
Corporations, and Individuals in both Simple Bankruptcy Cases and as well as Complex Bankruptcy Litigation. Finally, Chris maintains a significant General Practice in which he performs a variety of services for Clients, Including Wills, Corporate Representation and Advising along with Conflict Resolution.

Joseph Martin Gannam is a native and life long resident of Savannah, Georgia.  Joe graduated from Benedictine Military School before going on to receive his Undergraduate Degree and Law Degree from the University of Georgia.  He was admitted to the practice of law in 1984 and began working with his father, Michael J. Gannam, and J. Hamrick (Rick) Gnann, Jr., in the law firm of Gannam & Gnann, LLP.  Joe is now the managing member of the law Fiirm of GANNAM, GNANN & STEINMETZ, LLC.


Joe's practice includes general Civil Litigation, Social Security Disability, Immigration, Commercial & Residential Real Estate, Probate and Estate Planning along with Commercial and Small Business Issues. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia State Trial and Appellate Courts, as well as theFederal District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He has served as Court Appointed Special Master and Referee for the Eastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia.  Joe is a member to of the State Bar of Georgia, Savannah Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers Association.
